Where you stay shapes how you experience the transformative work of EQUUS. And we are so excited to share something new.

Clients now have the opportunity to stay on site in The Buffalo House, a gracious adobe home at Buffalo Spirit Ranch.

The Great Room boasts a kiva fireplace, a movie nook, a large dining area, and grand double-height ceilings. Tall windows  overlook stunning views of the sculpture garden (curated by Shidoni Gallery), the EQUUS herd, and the Jemez Mountains beyond. The Buffalo House is equipped with all that you will need for a transformative sojourn, including a gym / yoga / session room, and a cozy kitchen with stove, microwave and small oven.

Imagine waking up to the sound of the herd

…coffee with mountain views, and hummingbirds outside your window. Imagine the quiet wisdom of the high desert greeting you before the day even begins. When you stay at The Buffalo House, you are not just visiting EQUUS. You are immersed in it.

This is more than a place to sleep. It is an invitation to live inside the experience.

This offering is available exclusively to those participating in an EQUUS offeringand is not offered as a standalone accommodation to the general public.

Your integration of this work deepens when you are able to remain immersed in the full experience of the ranch. The land, the herd, the quiet mornings, and the unstructured space all continue to work on you long after the formal session ends.

This feels like a meaningful next chapter for us. And we cannot wait to welcome you even more fully onto the land.
